Latham, NY -- The New York State Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NYSSLHA) has announced the installation of its 2009 board of directors. January 29, 2009
Officers for 2009 include James Feuerstein of Nazareth College in Rochester as president, Theresa Massimi, a private practice speech-language pathologist in Kingston as president-elect, Salvatore Gruttadauria of Diversified Rehabilitation Services in Buffalo as past-president, Michael Bergen of Brooklyn College Speech and Hearing Center as Vice President-Audiology, Denise Senick-Pirri, a private practice speech-language pathologist in Albany as Vice President-Speech, Tracy Panzarella of Autistic Services in Buffalo as Secretary and Jane Downey, a private practice speech-language pathologist in Albany as Treasurer.
NYSSLHA has also announced the addition of four new board members. Renee Fabus of Brooklyn College, Roseanne Legrand,private practice speech-language pathologist, and Janet Schoepflin, of Adelhphi University join returning board members Mindy Karten-Bornemann, of NYC Dept of Education, Cathy Lazarus of New York University School of Medicine, Debra Trees of St. Peter’s Hospital, Kim Tillery of SUNY Fredonia, and Yula Serpanos of Adelphi University.
The New York State Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Inc. (NYSSLHA) has served as the trade association for the state’s speech-language pathologists and audiologists since 1950.
